Central London, July 12th, 2014

Oxford, December 8th, 2014

(10am-4:30pm)

Facilitated by Ruud Baanders

Taking NVC into your workplace
You have experienced how Nonviolent Communication (NVC) supports you in transforming misunderstanding and pain into more satisfying relationships with yourself and others. NVC supports you to feel more confident to listen with empathy to what is going in you and in others, to handle conflict confidently, to express yourself authentically and to hear others fully and respectfully without judgments.

"How to be  authentically yourself at work, expressing yourself both empathically and honestly"

Now, you want to take this experience with NVC into your workplace. To turn it into an emphatic, collaborative, and effective workplace. A place where people can find trust and come with joy, where they can express themselves authentically and respectfully.

Mapping the Territory
Taking a process, or rather a consciousness, like NVC into the workplace with the longing to change the current ways of working requires careful preparation. This preparation starts with you and in you.
This workshop will support you in this process of exploration about why and how you would like to take NVC into your workplace. This workshop is useful for you whether your are an employee, supervisor, manager, CEO, consultant, working either for corporations, organizations, non-profit or for-profit businesses, as well as self-employed,

What will you take away
At the end of this workshop you will have greater clarity about the aspects that are relevant for the decision and implementation of taking NVC into your workplace.
Examples of these aspects are:

  • What do I mean by NVC?
  • What is my motivation?
  • What changes do I want to see?
  • What are my roles and who are my stakeholders?
  • Who have to be involved?
  • What is their readiness to receive NVC?
  • What scenarios for implementation can I perceive?
